For athletes seeking team selection, feedback from their training plan or a better understanding of their current strengths and weaknesses, accurate fitness testing can give you the edge you are looking for.
Different sports require different physical assets. This is why we offer a range of tests, catered to your individual needs. We supply all the equipment during fitness testing, including heart rate monitors, testing equipment and recording equipment.
For the cyclists, we offer three standard tests, to give you a clear picture of your current fitness level.
All fitness tests include full written report, including breakdown of results and recommendations at the conclusion of the testing process.
- WattMax Test - Discover your maximum power delivery over a short duration. Useful for sprinters or those trying to improve their sprinting ability, short term power and strength.
- Lactate Power Test - Discover your power delivery over a longer time period. Useful for those preparing for track events, as well as Time Trial, this test can be modified to suit your needs.
- Vo2 Max Test - How do you stack up compared to the rest of the cyclists in the world? Test yourself against the universal benchmark for the athlete's aerobic fitness level. Useful for cyclists preparing for competition or undertaking a new training regime. If you are going to have a bit of a spew after your test, this is the one.

- Agility Test - This recognised test has been incorporated into test batteries for many years. It measures the ability to quickly change direction without losing control or balance, giving you a rating versus other people of your age and gender.
- Recovery Test - How quickly can you recover from an effort? For those that want to know their recovery rate or test how effective their recent training has been. It measures your decline in heart rate over time, after a standardized effort, giving you a rating versus other people of your age and gender.
- Multistage Fitness Test - A progressive shuttle-run test for the prediction of maximum oxygen uptake. Test yourself against an universal benchmark for the athlete's aerobic fitness level. Useful for athletes preparing for competition or undertaking a new training regime. Gives you a rating versus other people of your age and gender.
